I’m Dr. Buddy Dunworth, and I’m thrilled to announce that I am running for Place 4 on the Denton ISD School Board!

After 24 years of serving the students of Denton ISD as a teacher and principal, I’m ready to continue giving back in a new capacity. As both an employee and a parent, I’ve had the unique opportunity to see this district from multiple perspectives. Denton ISD is close to my heart, and it’s a vital part of our community. I’m deeply committed to the success of our students and teachers, and I believe together, we can keep Denton ISD one of the best places to learn and work in Texas.
